ACC Counselling is funded counselling for anyone who has experienced sexual abuse or sexual assult.
The lasting impacts of sexual trauma might include depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and many other disturbances.
I offer support and psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. These disturbing life experiences are stored in our brain.
Unresolved trauma
When we “bump” into these experiences – either through a trigger, an emotion, or a flashback, we often get stuck in the pain from the unresolved trauma.
